Frequently Asked Questions
When is UCR due? UCR registration opens in the fall for the following year. Registration must be completed before operating in the new calendar year, i.e December 31st of the current year.
How much does UCR cost? Fees are based on the number of qualifying vehicles in your fleet. The smallest bracket (0-2 vehicles) has the lowest fee. Larger fleets pay more.
What happens if I do not register? Operating without valid UCR registration can result in fines during roadside inspections. Some states actively enforce UCR compliance and will keep you pulled over until you file, and then give you a ticket on top of it.
